Self-proclaimed “Rappa-Ternt-Sanger” T-Pain has been on the inside of the Young Money confines and worked with the crew’s captain Lil Wayne on Weezy’s upcoming Tha Carter IV and the Florida native even helped out on the project as well. In an interview with Billboard Wednesday (July 20), T-Pain chatted up his upcoming album RevolveR, cutting loose his favored vocal plug-in Auto-Tune and going into detail about his new audio software dubbed “The T-Pain Effect.”
Mr. Teddy Pender also revealed he’s been working alongside YMCMB cash cow Lil Wayne on an answer track to Weezy’s “How To Love single and gave the rapper’s ninth album some high praise. “I think it's gonna be the outro," T-Pain shares. "Without knowing it, Wayne wrote a song called 'How To Love' and I wrote him a song called 'How To Hate;' we were in the same studio, but completely across the parking lot from each other and writing the songs at the same time. It was weird. I think he's starting out his album with 'How To Love' and ending it with 'How To Hate.' "
T-Pain also gushed over Tha Carter IV, giving it a glowing endorsement. "I've heard some of ('Tha Carter IV') and I gotta tell ya, Wayne has gone pretty crazy with his music -- crazy in a good way. This is gonna be an awesome album," said T-Pain.
Speaking of albums, Tallahassee Pain’s upcoming fourth album will be released late September or early October in what appears to be a pretty stacked fourth quarter for music. Guests on RevolveR include Chris Brown, Pitbull, Ke$ha and Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes.
