J. Cole Says Debut Album Is 'Gold' And He Is 'Super Confident'

J. Cole has confessed that he is "super confident" in his debut album and he can't wait to release it even though he only finished the LP last week.
The rapper, who is currently supporting Rihanna's 'Loud' tour, is hoping that the album will be available before September but no official release date has been scheduled.
The Roc Nation star spoke to Detroit News about his debut LP, he said: "I'm trying to find ways to word it without sounding overly egotistical, and I want to remain humble, but also let people know it's actually (really) incredible. I'm sitting on gold, man. I don't wanna speak it up too much but I'm super confident in it. I'm super proud."
J. Cole is viewing his opening slot for Rihanna as a chance for the audience to get familiar with him and build popularity.
"There's going to be a lot of people there that are not familiar with me, and hopefully by the time they leave they'll at least check for me when they hear the single or when they see the album," he explained.
The 'Friday Night Lights' star says that he's ready to take the next step in his career, as he said: "I've gotten a little bit of that superstar taste, and that's let me know my final destination is way higher than the mixtape/underground level."

One of Cole's best records, if not his best. Had it for awhile now. We were trying not to let it get out so it wouldn't leak, guess it didn't work. Cole is probably gunna be mad lol.

THP, whats the name for your exact type of job lol? Crazy that you hear all the music way before us, I envy you. But yea I'm ready for Cole's album, hopefully a classic. It will definitely be the best album in a very long time.
