Mack Maine Reveals Vintage Lil Wayne, Curren$y Track

“I actually have one from ‘05 that I didn’t put on there. It’s with myself, Wayne and Curren$y," said Mack Maine. "It was supposed to be our first single called “G’d Up,” so I have to make sure that get previewed soon. It’s a great, it’s a beast.”

Despite the vintage age of "G'd Up," Maine says it's timeless.

“I’m listening to it, ‘cause I’m not even that person anymore, none of us are," said Maine. "So I’m listening to it from a critical, non-biased standpoint and it’s a beast, man.”

WOW. This song brings it back man. I'm not gonna complain about Wayne being different 'cause I love to watch his growth but DAMN, this stuff used to be fun to listen to.

it's crazy to believe this was recorded just a year before he started recordin for C3, i don't think i've ever heard a rapper that's so vastly different with every album he drops.

Well that was a great time and I don't even blame Wayne on him that he left this style of rap.
But after he changed from a great style he had another great style and now he went from genius to a rapper with one flow and whack punchlines.

Best rapper ever.....Wayne. I dont even care what people say about punchlines or whatever, if you have stuff like this in your catalog whether it was recorded 10 years ago or not....your a great one.

damn track is noce...on another note i was listening to his fire flame verses the other day, their doper than most of the carter 4 verses. that tells me he still has it but for some reason he's not giving that to us but a watered down flow and lyrics. hopefully i cant feel my face will be the return.
