      banned members can login. They get a ban message and expiration date but they can still browse the forums but do nothing else (can't pm, post, make threads, etc,etc)

          they wanna keep members i suppose, so they just do temporary bans so they dont lose members permanently.
          although im pretty sure anybody who's been perma banned before just went on to make a new account after they were banned.

          how many perma bans has there been ? probaly less than 10 im guessing.

                      yeah danny can but alot of people have dynamic IP addresses or just use a proxy/vpn to create a new account, plus our community is small, perm bans are only needed for extreme offences IMO.
