and 2009 and after is when production went downhill because everyone started to use that wack ass fruity loops studios


and only a few producers came out on top after using it, Lex, Jahlil, Hitboy, Boi-1da


learn to play a real instrument or something instead of using installed drum kits and sounds


i have not once heard piano strings in a rap song this year, hell for the past 2 years, shit is sad, i dont hear good melodies anymore either, nowadays its the same old computerized bullshit.

it probably happened like this, while Snizzy was doing other shit:

Wayne's Engineer found a beat, played it to Wayne...Wayne rapped his struggle bars over the beat and kept it for the album

Then he used the extremely poetic track for MTV's Unplugged and Snizzy realized they took his beat

blabla he somehow got the production credit

wouldn't even count that as "producing" tbh... this counts as "beatmaking"
