Right CS2 is now 10 years old but hold that though. Adobe are giving it away for free. So if you think Paint is shit and don't know how to get the latest Adobe (illegally) or just can't afford to buy it then this is your option.

Well no, people who know how to will have already done so. This is for people who want a legit copy by Adobe themselves that will install easy, or for people who have a slow computer this has lower computing requirements compared to CS6 which will only run on new PCs well and would struggle like a bitch on a old machine.

Using this version for a few years now, and it's only running slow for a few seconds when I use the text option for the first time.

Yeah I mean they're very handy. I just remember when using them they'd crash when loading fonts up/textures/rendering images or just randomly. Just save often and you should be okay.

Yeah loading the fonts is the main issue. Might be connected with the 50 fonts I downloaded.
