Meh if he has it or not. It's his decision if he wants to leak it or not, it would be great if he did tho. But you have to consider that if he does leak it he will have to make sure it is anonymous, therefore he will be safe. Even if he does send it to someone what makes sure that they wont leak it, and just rat him out to leaking it in the beginning. Because he did send it first which is still illegal
