You can't deny Carter 2 > Rebirth. He made quality timeless hip-hop music from like 05 - 07 but no one will be listening to rebirth after a few months. He needs to go back to what he does best and do it properly. Also in like 07 he didn't seem like a fucking crackhead he actually seemed a down to earth guy but now he thinks hes some sort of alien.

true yet false, there are some solid tracks on rebirth such as drop the world, on fire, runnin, american star, etc.
plus he's eccentric n its a funny persona, what i'v noticed is that wayne is a rapping comedian and just plays off of stupid shit like that all the time, alot of his punchlines r hilarious

If Amazon hadn't fucked up he wouldn't have to worry about Rebirth 2, or whatever it's going to be called.
I just hope this new album is just as good, or better, I'd rather C4 though.

Lil Wayne is trying to do something new,it is an awesome initiative.Moreover i think it is good that Wayne change,because in that way we can't be bored about him.He do rap,R&B,and now Rock,that's good,he's experimenting,trying to improve.And Rebirth is a very good album for a raper i think.Say to 50cent,Eminem,TI,Kanye West,Jay Z...All of them,and i don't think they could do a rock album as good as Rebirth.This album is different,for sure some songs are wack...It's normal.But some of them are very good if not awesome.Some of the song are a little "strange" at the first listen,but they grow on us,that's very good.Some songs like Drop The World hurt us (in a good way) at the first listen,and others like Runnin' grow on us.That's good stuff i think.But i agree if you stay in "Lil Wayne = Rapper" you could hate Rebirth.
Plus,experementing like that will help "Carter 4 creativity" i name this like that lol but what i mean is that in the next album we will hear awesome music,new rap.
Lil Wayne is givin us new music.I love that.And he doesn't scared of that.
Some years back nobody could imagine Rap/Electro collaboration or Electro/Pop,but now it is normal and awesome for the majority.Maybe it will be the same with Rap/Rock is some years,because of Wayne's experementation.

• Prom queen single release, wasn't successful at all got terrible reviews and poor youtube ratings and alot of hate
  Rebirth project has been continuously pushed back throughout the year
  Rebirth pushed back to Feb 2010 from Dec 21st 2009 release date (annoyed alot of people who said they might not even buy it because of constant push backs)
  Amazon had a shipping mishap and mailed 500 CD copys to customers who had pre-ordered it a week before Dec 21st release
  It then leaked nearly 3 months before release (i know 50 cent isn't as big as wayne right now in hiphop (although 50 is internationally recongised and is a huge hiphip/rap icon) his album BISD leaked one month prior to release and only sold 160k first week)
  Its a experimental album and its rock which put off quite alot of fans
  It has been poorly promoted
  Theres alot of confusion now as it was on sale in UK itunes on 21st dec when that was the old release date, on top of that it was on sale for 1.49 pounds.

And that's why i said it'll be lucky to sell 200k first week, seriously you cannot say I'm hating based on that..really..?
