cosign, wayne is a movement, i mean i live in one of the whitest areas in the entire nation (my geography professor proved it) and yet 80% of us consider ourselves either wayne fans or at least listen to his music regularly. I swear I go on to my campus n there is like 6% black kids yet i can walk down to my car n no matter what i'll hear someone bumpin a wayne/YM track. The only evidence I've seen to this is that the internet kills all record sales, wayne only sold a million, this is nothing compared to 10 mill for a hit record just 5 years ago; this is a gay fact that 50 refers to every time someone talks about how good anyone is compared to him

Retarded? It's called a principle. Its the same principle that 50's album leaked and obviously his sales were shit to what they should of been, and so; therefore the same thing will happen to any artist whos album will leak.

I'mma have to agree with Wisheezy. The album leaked, not only that but it's an experimental album. Think how many people signed up here, got 10 posts and downloaded it in the past week, those people won't be buying Rebirth. Then think of all the other people that won't sign up here but will download it and not buy it. Then all the people that downloaded it and don't like it, they won't buy it. Only a small amount of people will have downloaded and liked this album compared to how many people there are in the States. A lot of people won't buy Rebirth, whether we get a new one in 2010 or not.

Only the real Wayne fans who don't like it will buy it, just to support him. Only real Wayne fans who like it will buy it to support him, and then there are the others who haven't downloaded it but will still buy it for some or most of the songs.

I'm gonna say no more than 400,000 in first weeks sales.

well the people i've talked to were surprised after hearin this leak compared to the shit we thought was gonna be on there (amazing love, most wanted rockstar, moshpit, etc.)
there is rap on these tracks which is a relief compared to those tracks i just mentioned, there is less autotune on his voice than what was originally thought, and with the exception of prom queen, get a life, and price is wrong this album is solid from cover to cover

Yeah I get what you're saying but lots of people notice beats > lyrics, which is a damn shame cause they don't notice how good Wayne really is. I hope it sells though, I mean I can't stop listening to Rebirth, I want him to do another album like this after his jail time
