1) dont sync, manually manage as 'smieses' said

or

2) download 'sharepod' free software and its very easy to use compared to i tunes, on this you can drag and drop everyting

It's been a while since i used itunes but you should be able to drag the song from your ipod library to your regular library on itunes, and from their it should be in your itunes music folder, if anyone else actually knows though please help.

lets all stick to one plan here use 'sharepod' a freeware software it will take couple of seconds to download and it will be nice and easy to use

If its possible to just drag it from your ipod to desktop do that, but im not sure if thats possible, I would suggest doing through sharepod as was stated before cause Itunes can be a little tricky, but should that fail, itunes is gonna have to do.

yeah i tunes is tricky, as i have fucking lost my tunes a couple of times when its deleted of the computer and you connect it
