Schools finish at different times as do colleges as do universities, so that makes no sense at all. Anyone that doesn't do that but has money will work (with obviously some exceptions). That leaves only weekends for people to buy the CD as well as online orders at anytime.

Universal don't give a flying fuck about things like this, they'll look at whether any other albums that could be real competition will be released around the time they wanna drop C4 and that will decide the release date.

I still think December maybe Jan for C4, I mean be realistic about it all, he'll have most of C4 done already, then out of jail and a good 2 - 3 months of hard work to make it sound perfect and it can be released

so 2 albums will be dropped in the space of 6 months do yourself a favour and never go in marketing

Thats not so much overexposure. Its more like you will look like a genius for going platnum 2 times in 6 months.

Right let me explain a bit more then....

Weezy fans like us will want some new shit before jail time so hence Wayne releasing D4 for us to listen to.

Half way through his jail term if a new version of Rebirth drops with a few rap songs on it then it holds people over and keeps Wayne's hype going for his release from jail. Universal and probably now Wayne won't expect it to sell that well so it's like a filler album.

Then after jail and still with his hype he finishes up C4 and releases it and then the hope of everyone will be that it will sell and that the Rebirth release in June has held his hype up well enough to border around a mill in first week again.

You try to talk about me not going into marketing, you were talking about it being released at a dumb as fuck time that made no sense. What I said isn't over-exposure but a smart marketing plan to keep up Wayne being played everywhere and interest around him and his music. But maybe you should go tell Wayne's people about over-exposure because he drops a lot of his own tracks and features on plenty more every year. Wait a damn minute, that worked for him, so why don't you stfu and use your brain

All them push backs and the leaked version still sounded horrible. I think the leaked was a set up, he just wanted to get people thinking he don't know what he doing just to drop the official rebirth that "he think" is going to be good. but really its still going to sound like crap. he self proclaimed the rebirth was something he wanted to do because he could talk about things that cant be said in rap but to me over all he still talking about the same thing. f being a real fan. being a real fan doesn't mean you have to support everything he does.

Again, this album was made for the people who liked his rock style and songs. It has nothin to do with bein a wayne fan. My mom hate lil wayne but she liked his rock songs cuz my mom likes rock. he made this album for rock fans. if ur not a fan of his rock style delete it out ur ipod and dont listen but u dont have to listen he wants to do sumthin diff. he said he doesnt care wat it sells. he wants to do rock so let him do rock.
