It really was Empire who they spoke with. They made him shoutout LilWayneHQ on his Twitter to verify it.
He said a single would drop this week.

The Empire never said anything to us about something dropping yesterday. All he said was that a song will leak this week featuring Diddy, DIO7 will be out in two weeks, 30MTNO is on it and the tape is hosted by wayne.
