Anyone wish Wayne had never done Rebirth

I'm gonna always respect the music Wayne puts out but does anyone miss the Carter 1, 2, mixtape Wayne of a few years back? Carter 3 was ill and No Ceilings was sick but it's like he's lost some of his hunger. I mean Wayne from a few years would kill any and every beat you gave him but now he's kind of inconsistent. He still murders tracks when he does em but a lot of his shit now is just singing.

Songs like Told Yall, No Quitter Go Getter, Young Money Hospital, Demolition, all of No Ceilings, Dedication 3, are what makes Wayne the best rapper alive but then he'll drop shit like Rebirth and Damn Damn and shit that just doesn't live up to my expectations of Wayne. I can't wait till the Carter 4 drops but I really wish he slowed down on the rock and had done another mixtape instead of Rebirth.

when rebirth is released he will start the C3 Rap (but in a higher level, C4) and contiue, but really, I think its awesome that he did Rebirth, I know alot of people that think Rebirth is better than his rap (people that dont like hip hop so much) so basicaly he got more fans.

it was bit too soon for C4, so Rebirth was his waaay of taking a break from rap and building anticipation for C4 at the same time...

But Rebirth is a great album, a lot of emotion put into it. Wayne has just found himself as an artist, he's only just reached his peak in my opinion
