Or for voting, a new forum branch is made(not needed) titled Awards Voting and each category will have its own poll thread with all of the nominees on the poll. But with the poll you must type a brief summary of why you chose that person, yadda yadda yadda. And the plus of making a new forum branch would be to limit the minimum number of posts so new members who haven't been around for a while can't vote for no reason.

and cool 5 select members any idea on how many awards in total?

Alright. As of now I'm going with 10, but it could end up being less. Definitely no more than 10 though.

I have chosen these members because I feel they have contributed to this idea of forum awards. Don't get mad because you contrbuted, but didn't get chosen. I don't want anymore arguments firing up.

and also i was thinking just like you cant access the download section without 10 posts the webpage can only be accessed with more than 20 posts or something.... JUST in case nominees try to create new accounts and vote

As for Dino's idea, I would rather not have people boosting their post count to vote for each category. I think the best way is to follow Jamerson's idea of making a webpage and making it an announcement. No reason for extra clutter, plus for records people could just go to that page.

Also I Think You Should Have An Assistant Being That It Will Be Time Consuming That You Do This All By Yourself. The Assistant Can Update The Thread When Your Not On Or When You Just Don't Have Time, He Can also Help You With Decisions Toward The Awards.

Yea i think the list of people voting is BS its basically all the mods and the other 2 are people that are godfather..there should be a thread made people vote a person for each category top 3 get decided by the mods? thats my idea.

Best Contributer-Tune
Funniest member-Jaime

Mods count up the names who are mention the most in each category and top 3 will be discussed by all mods.
(I just made up names for this)

other than that i thought we should make a webpage for the voting and then a link to it to the forums, bc a thread for each category is gonna be unnecessary plus people are gonna be posting for no reason, and members could just create new accounts to vote .. so the webpage will need a certain amount of posts to access ..

also i think is good that Global Mods and Mods choose the nominees for the categories.. but they really havve to discuss it and go through possible nominees posts so everything is fair.. so decisions cant be made just because of wat they have seen in the last 1 or 2 days.. and then members could just vote

i dont really think the global moderators should choose the nominees because some of them arent really around much and havent gotten to know a lot of the members. i think maybe 7 members should choose the nominees, some members that know a lot of the other members. well yeah i know. i take that back, its sad to say but the gobal mods are not here a lot lol.
but i say just moderators then . i dont know if members should choose nominees that sounds unfair and it would be weird if they chose themselves .

I honestly could care less how its done..all i care about is it being fair, like no setup up group and there happens to be all the so called "popular" people chosen for the awards..it needs to have many different sorts and ranks of people . But trustworthy aswell.
