i think it should be possible
but a big ass notifications nooo.. wat if we get too many PMs
maybe "1 new message" flashing at the top right, or sounds. i really want sounds for the forums and the chat lol

This is for sure a good idea. It is also annoying because when you go to delete your inbox, you got to delete to 0 just to read the new message you got.
