So due to some people voicing concern about the legitimacy of the way people are selected to win awards we are going to try a different method which is a little bit more complicated but could make the whole process a little more unbiased.
So basically were going to all together nominate judges (5 in total) every month to come together right before the time to hand out the awards and select the members they feel deserve the awards. The point is that during the month leading up to the awards the judges keep a conscious eye out for users and who deserves what.
Now if you are selected to be a judge you will not be eligible the month after to be voted as a judge. This lasts for the next 3 months after you've been a judge.
So vote for 5 users, 1 of them has to be a moderator and good luck for the next awards.
I also want to make clear that this isn't set in stone as in for future awards, this is what were going to do for the next awards and maybe the next one after that just to see if it would work. Think of it as an experiment.
Furthermore judges need to have at least been registered for 6 months.
