Why All The Hostility?

I've taken a recent notice to that fact that the majority of threads I look into have turned into pointless arguments, and trash talking. While I am aware that this is a forum and people are entitled to their opinions about things, why is it necessary to call people, "bitch, dick sucker, pussy, etc." I'm not trying to preach or be the internet police about things it's just upsetting to me that people can't be civil and just debate intellectually

I think age has a small part in this one. i'm actually kind of sad because I feel the same way and might stop getting on as I had different expectations of this place

Exactly and I feel the same way I don't enjoy the forum as much as I did when I joined because of all the immaturity in threads. However if either one of us were to stop visiting the forum as often nobody would really be affected at all because there are plenty more members here. It's mainly just a question of why can't the threads be more civilized and mature instead of middle school e-thugs and name-callers?

Blame the average age on the forums right now, not to mention it's the internet, it's full of keyboard warriors and always will be. Just report anything you deem to be very insulting and the staff will look at it.

and i agree i think its an age thing. not saying you have to be a certain age to be considered mature but the things your talking about are the things you would expect out of a younger individual lol.
