Wish do actually believe that or just cause your staff you have to say that. If I was new all I do was spam 10 posts and get into downloads. If there were additional incentives along the way, a lot more new members would post.
Think about it, it makes sense.

Feel free to suggest other incentives, but at the end of the day it won't change anything. No one when registering will think "wow I want to not spam 10 posts because I want my username changed at 3,500 posts" we can't offer anything that is actually that amazing for normal lazy users to stay, unless it was exclusive Wayne tracks then they would but nothing else would probably prevent that.

This shouldn't be he only incentive as well, another should be once you become a godfather the color changes to black, or if you reach 1000 or 1500 posts you get an increased limit in PM's. Make it 100 when they start and when the reach 1000 it goes up to 200 then at 2.5k it goes upto 300. Now these are examples of how you can enhance the possibility of members being active.

True but you're missing hidden consequences for those things. Increased PMs means more bandwidth which means more money and longer load times and server strain. As for Godfathers being black, it's been suggested before but I think Danny said no, but I can't remember. There is very limited incentives we can give new users, I personally think free downloads of all Wayne tracks is a massive perk of being apart of this community and if a user only get 10 posts for that and never posts again then so be it, but it's worth it when 50% of those people do continue to post and get involved in the community and contribute and stay active.

Yeah I've always wanted downloads section to be 50. He's got big changes coming soon and me and him are working on stuff so hopefully once that is out the way I can suggest that.

I'll show Danny. Maybe he can give me permission in this hack to do it aswell so it can be done even faster, but if I'm really honest it's not something I can see Danny agreeing too, especially since it's not a massive problem right now but I'll definitely pass it on for you and let you know what he says.
