This will suck for mobile users.

We can't access general settings to turn it off or delete pm's.

It's not on unless you turn it on yourself. And if that's the case, then wait til you get onto a computer to delete them. And if worst comes to worse turn it of alltogether if you use your mobile to browse the forums alot.
