Problem with editing signature !

Hey guys I need your help !
I've been trying to edit my signature for a while but it still doesn't work.
I pasted a new picture but everytime I clicked "Save signature" it said :

"Your signature cannot be longer than 1000 characters including BB code markup"

This also occured when I pasted my old picture with which it had worked before. If I tried to paste the Url of the image, it hasn't worked as well.
