How u see notifications?

How do you see old notifications? Like when that "Notifications" gets red and lets say you have like 5 notifications and some1 quoted you and then you press on that, how do you get to see the other 4? Like how you get to that notification center again, I can only get to inbox after ive choosen 1 of the notifications so I useally forget to answer or look up what the other notifications was..
