It used to happen to me on the old site (before it got hacked). I have Norton, it dealt with it. I think Trojan Horse is one of the worst viruses around so you should definitely increase your browser security

But yeah, I didnt get the virus, I just got a notification that something on this site was about to give me one. So just a heads up to the people w/o antivirus. And of course when I want to get a screen shot of it, it stops doing it!

i run kaspersky and never got that notification.

A Trojan Horse isn't always a really bad virus, sometimes it's just malicious (excuse any spelling errors), in other words annoying.

Anybody who gets it if you go to the entertainment section of the forum on the official comp help thread and download the Anti Malware link I put there it should find where the problem is

Also use AVG anti-virus software, the link again is in the entertainment section, it's the best anti-virus program around without a doubt. It's free and does a better job than anything you pay for, other anti-viruses don't catch many minor things, only major ones. AVG will get you anything that'll slow or fuck up your comp slightly

As far as the screen that comes up to show "My Computer" if that ever pops up just close off of it straight away, it by no chance is ever your comp, it's a stupid malware advert/virus, normally in the form of a Trojan

Yup, and also Nod32 is good virus protection software.
I just looked at this site, which reviews all AV's, and Nod32 is ranked number 4.

I use Avast with Spybot to clean everything else up
its quite a formidable combination.

oh yes and norton does suck and I use to have NOD32 and it was great.

Same shit happened to me yesterday. I didn't read to much into it though. I got Avast Pro so it automatically shot that shit down. Hasn't happened since.

LOL it fucks my head up sometimes. It'll be quiet as hell in my house and all of a sudden shit says out of nowhere, "Virus Database Updated." Loud as hell. LOL
