Suggestion for "Tha Studio"

Considering "Tha Studio" is a place for "raps, poems, lyrics, beats and mixtapes", you should make it so that specific forum can be filtered by those 5 different types of pieces.

This way someone easily search by either lyrics or a mixtape if they want to.

It's actually pretty easy to do on vBulletin if an admin is reading this.


Go to AdminCP -> Thread Prefixes -> Add a New Prefix Set

Prefix Set ID: media_type
Title: Type of: Media
Display Order: 10
User Prefix Set in These Forums: Tha Studio

Then on the next page you Click here to create a prefix!, click there and add one for each of the types. Like this:

Prefix ID: rap
Prefix Set: Media
Title (Plain Text): Rap
Title (Rich Text): Here you can add html if you want (ie: <b>Rap</b> to make it bold), or just leave plain "Rap"
Display Order: 1 (higher the number the lower it'll show in the dropdown)


Once you're done, people will be able to specify the type of post they're making in "Tha Studio". By default, they're not FORCED to pick one. However, if you want to force them, here's how:

AdminCP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Tha Studio -> Require Threads to have a Prefix -> Yes



Takes about 2 minutes and would make "Tha Studio" more organized so that people here can share and discover content quicker
