Can someone tell me how to comment & edit?

I've got a new thread which talks about how Rappin' 4-Tay is wanting Drake to pay him back the money he owes him by March 11.

But whenever I try to type a comment in the thread it just "updates" all my comments into 1.

Can someone tell me how to post separate comments within a thread?

Also, is there any way to edit screen name?

yeah that is normal if two posts are made by same poster in same thread with no posts between.
are you able to edit your message by clicking "edit post"

People do not get notifications if you edit your post. What it will do is show up as (edited) on desktop but you can’t tell on the reddit mobile apps.

I tried posting two comments on one thread but didn't have the problem as you said. Try logging out and back in.
