Na, Im not gonna say fuck her, for the same reason that people are retarded if they say they love her. She hasn't done anything at all yet and if she does have musical talents, then she hasn't been using them cause she doesnt stand out from all those RnB singers at all. The fucked up things is her "fans" love her because she "looks cool" or dresses nice ... as if thats how you judged if one is a good "musician"

Na, Im not gonna say fuck her, for the same reason that people are retarded if they say they love her. She hasn't done anything at all yet and if she does have musical talents, then she hasn't been using them cause she doesnt stand out from all those RnB singers at all. But I gotta agree with the fan thing. Her fans are kind of pathetic sometimes b/c they know nothing about her career outside of YM. They know nothing about The Girls Club. They cant name any of her songs if they dont have wayne on. They dont know about what she did before YM, they dont know how she got on YM, hell they dont even know what she did FOR ym. They just go ooh I like wayne, he made her(FUCKIN LIE), so lemme like her too. Shanell's sister was my favorite artist, then when I discovered the Girls Club(Shanell's organization w/her sister and a bunch of other people in the industry), I discovered Shanell, then I discovered Nicki, THEN I became a YM fan. Not the other way around. Hell I only joined this board b/c I was like ok, hm, Wayne's cool and this is the only board that knows who Nicki/SnL are.

But I got a problem with you saying 'fuck her' in a thread about her mixtape release party when you're gonna say that she hasnt done anything. Thats a lapse in your information, not in her talent. Thats like saying Keri Hilson had no talent before she dropped her first album. Do you know what kind of career that girl had as a writer for other artists? Just b/c you didnt see it or werent interested in it, doesnt mean that she doesnt have talent. Same with Shanell. She was a professional dancer, choreographer and songwriter before she did her music. She was on NeYo's Complex label and she wrote on his album. Hell like I've said a million times, she introduced Wayne to Bangladesh(whom she went to highschool with) and Maestro for C3. She also was in Wayne's Rock group(The Bad Ass Grasshoppers) before I guess that fell through and she got her own Solo spot. But at the end of the day I can name a bunch of songs that im sure you've never heard of, videos she's been in that you know nothing about, and songs she's written on that you didnt know about either sooooo how is that Shanell's fault that people dont know what she did? You cant judge a good musician based on what you know. Thats BS.

But all that you listed doesnt make her a good singer and still doesn't make her stand out. Yes, just like Keri, she'll have a, lil, career but she ll be like every motherfuckin rnb singer. Right but that's an opinion........if you dont like her voice, she can get 100 grammys and sell a million records and still be nothing to you. And you not liking her doesnt make her a bad singer. To me, that girl has an amazing voice and she kicks ass. But that's two opposing opinions that are never gonna meet......so now what?

i dont think this dude has listened to any of her music because if he did wouldnt he know her sound is like no one elses out there. the stuff she sings about is nothing like anyone else out there. her beats are crazier than anyones out there.

she sings, raps, writes, dances ....she just does the damn thing.
and if this dude knew anything he would know she is waiting to "get herself out there" and taking her time. she got singles coming out here and there, and after thursday people will know more. she unlike beyonce and keri and monica and whoever else because its not JUST singing for shanell.
