This is a %100 review for the people who don't to wait 8 minutes waiting for Drake's TML to run. This is coming from a person who had his ears glued to the computer's audio and listened the every word spit from Drake and the guest artist's mouths. Do not download or search his leaked album, just listen to this review.
1. Fireworks (Feat. Alicia Keys) - Very positive and lyrically brilliant song. Soulful beat and Drake just pours his heart out. Is it better than Tha Carter III's album intro? Is it better than Pricele$$'s album intro? Is it better than Rebirth's album intro? Is it better than In The City's intro? Alicia Keys sings a great hook that follows with the inspiration in this song. [5/5]
2. Karaoke - The hidden meaning of this song is to never give up because things can happen. The first minute of the song is pretty weird (and souful). Then he rapping a quality verse than soulful and relaxing again. Unpredictable track from Drake. [4.5/5]
3. The Resistance - You wouldn't guess this would be on the album. It shows more of Drake's personal life, how he changed as a person, how hes different today. He could of done a little better with rhyming. This will be a night car ride chill song. So far this track contains the best beat on the album. Good meaning too. Many meanings in this song scrambled through my mind. I hope theirs a Weezy, Lupe, and Jay-Z remix.. [5/5]
4. Over - Lyrically Drake is a monster on this track. Lyrics are positive and about the good life. Although this track got alot of hype on the radio as it is currently being overplayed, other than that this was a great choice for the 1st single for TML as it gave the album alot of mainstream attetion. It would of gotten a better rating if everytime I turned on the radio it wasn't on. Great job Drake! [4/5]
5. Show Me A Good Time - On this track, Drake is asking for a good outcome from all of his hardwork. He'll get it when TML is released. Trust me. Great flow and beat. [4/5]
6. Up All Night (Feat. Nicki Minaj) - This track really represents that Young Money is still on fire all night. They are doing this for their "team" like in the song, not themselves. Young Money does great teamwork on their track (Drake & Nicki Minaj both members of Young Money). The hidden meaning is sticking together for your group and always being with them at their side while the verses are blazing freestyles, fresh out the ovan! One of the best beats (other than "Over") since "The Resistance". [4/5]
7. Fancy (Feat. T.I. & Swizz Beatz) - Club banger right here. I have a feeling this track is going to get ALOT of hype, in good and bad ways. Good meaning its going to represent this album to the mainstream meaning it will bring attetion. The bad is its going to get overplayed to the death on the radio. Song for the ladies right here (since "Best I Ever Had"). TI had a great verse. Drake sends soulful punchlines. Swizzy reps the song well, but repeated. Which is a bad thing if the song is overplayed, you'll be hearing "oh your fancy huh" over 10,000x in your lifetime. You'll enjoy trust me, but I have a bad feeling about this, lol. [4/5]
8. Shut It Down (Feat. The Dream) - Another song with the "song for the ladies" meaning. Really slow R&B track. Not the greatest track on the album, but its a good song. Drake & The Dream did good for what they were going for and they pulled it off correctly. When Drake actually raps at 4 minutes in the song he sounds like as if he were rapping a freestyle to Lil Wayne's "On Fire" off Rebirth. Great song, they pulled it off. Honestly, they went for a slow club banger/song for the ladies and they did it well. They even added that rap verse to make it likeable. Amazing concept too. [4.7/5]
9. Unforgettable (Feat. Young Jeezy) - Great look for Young Jeezy as he is getting prepared to launch his album "Thug Motivation 103". This song is alot like Lil Wayne's track off No Ceilings, "I'm Single". Compared to "I'm Single" the beat is more Hip Hop and is alot more faster. The meaning is basically the goodlife with your girl but nothing like "Shut It Down" at all. Great verses, nobody is really singing. More rapping. Great track overall. [4.7/5]
10. Light Up (Feat. Jay-Z) - This track is shining, they really lit this one up! Drake's rhymes are on fire, same thing with Jay-Z. Mack Maine, President of Young Money Ent., said Lil Wayne couldn't even bang heads with them on that track. This leads to the remix of "Light Up" over the phone at Rikers Island.
11. Miss Me (Feat. Lil Wayne) - 3rd single off TML. This track reps the meaning of "TML". It is currently high on the charts on iTunes, this is a great track from both Weezy and Drizzy. The beat sounds alot like a ripoff "Cannon" by DJ Drama, Lil Wayne, Freeway, etc. Very popular track, many believe it was the best of May 2010. [4.9/5]
12. Cece's Interlude - This is what I call TML's breaktime. Its just a chorus, long amount of time of just the beat, and then the chorus, long time, etc. Its just a interlude with a slow beat. Skipper. [NO RATING]
13. Find Your Love - One of the best tracks on the album honestly. Verses are great, beat is amazing, hook is great, everything is great. This track is on fire and when TML comes out this is going to be the must needed song. MUST NEEDED! [6/5]
14. Thank Me Now - Great production from Timbaland. Really great. This is like the hidden letter (meaning) in the mailbox (album). Thank him now, Drake has proved you haters wrong. This proves Drake is the prodigy of Hip Hop, hes in level no other freshman rapper is in. [5/5]
15. Ireland Only - Best I Ever Had - The track that started it all. This is the track that started Drake's mainstream success. The verses and hook are amazing as well as the production. The lyrics in the verses are really good. [4.5/5]
16 Ireland Only - 9AM In Dallas - [RATING + REVIEW TBA]
SONGS THAT ARE RELATED/POSSIBLE REMIXES ON THE ALBUM?
1. Over (Remix) [Feat. Eminem & Yo Gotti] - Eminem & Yo Gotti did amazing freestyles to "Over" and if they ever released a final/official remix I hope this would be the outcome of the track. Combine Eminem & Yo Gotti's freestyles to the original by Drake to make a remix. It would get a 5/5 by far. [5/5]
2. Find Your Love (Official Remix) [Feat. Rick Ross, etc.] - This would be another great remix [5/5]
3. Lil Wayne - Light Out (Remix) - Would be a classic track. [5/5]
*Drake's TML is awarded with a perfect 10/10 with many tracks that should be remembered in the underground scene of Hip Hop, iTunes charts, the mainstream, and club hits*
