The anticipation level for Kanye West’s Good Ass Job just got higher -we didn’t think it was possible. It has just been revealed that the disc will feature Young Money’s Nicki Minaj. The album will be released September 14, and if the Minaj track is anything like the rest of the disc, it should be huge, according to comments by BET executive vice president Stephen Hill.
Hill said that the Kanye-Nicki track is “so dope, you won’t believe it when you hear it.” After word of the collaboration and its dopeness spread, Drake weighed in on why Minaj is in demand right now.
“She just has a brand that’s untouchable right now,” said Drake, who seems pretty untouchable himself with Thank Me Later. “People love Drake’s music and they love Drake shows but they don’t wanna dress like me…women may be into what I may have to offer them musically, but people wanna be Nicki.”
“People dress up as Nicki for Halloween,” explained Drake.” She has this army of fans it’s crazy.”
