Canadian rapper Drake is no doubt having one of the biggest years in Hip Hop thus far and the momentum certainly isn’t stopping.
Rumors have been floating around for weeks that the former actor will be appearing on the first official single off Jay-Z’s Blue Print 3.
LA’s DJ Skee, who originally broke news of Jay’s street single, D.O.A. [Death Of Auto-tune],has confirmed Drake’s appearance on Blue Print 3.
“I don’t want to really ruin the surprise,” DJ Skee is quoted as saying.
“I mean it’s Jay, he’s killing it.” Although he didn’t give much detail, he did confirm that Drake is on the song. Skee went on to get everyone that much more hyped to hear it. “Jay sounds pretty incredible, man.”
In related news, Drake has enlisted Kanye West to direct the video for his breakout hit,”Best I Ever Had.”
According to XXL Mag, the video will be directed by Kanye and will feature cameos from mentor Lil Wayne, Common, Fabolous, Trey Songz, his Young Money crew mates, and may also even feature an appearance from Jay-Z.
