A person on another webiste claimed that, in a recent Source Magazine interview, Baby stated that Cash Money owend the publishing of Young Money. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Of course it owns the publishing of Young Money...it's a sub label of Cash Money..

Cash Money is a sub label of Universal, but they own most, if not all, of their publishing and masters. I just need someone to explain how it work in terms of money distribution. How much does Wayne make of his own music if he doesn't own his publishing?

No Cash Money has a distribution deal with Universal. It isnt a sub label.

naw they are seperate but both under universal for distribution purposes so the publishing would go through wayne and mack maine and universal i dont know the exact numbers though like who benefits from what and who gets what wen the checks come in though...

Young Money Is A Sub Label Under Cash Money Plus Cash Money Deal With Universal Is 50/50 Plus They Own The Masters And Publishing Their Are Plenty Of Interviews Stating This ... Since They Started Their Selfs And Got Big By Their Selfs They Got One Of The Best Deals
