Alright...first of all...i think thats a contract with any record label but personally, i think its a stupid rule. Secondly have you actually seen a YM contract that you make such an assumption. Leaking songs helps build anticipation for the artist. The song was tight i'm sure they could have still marketed a single and his album. Its a bit of a bs.
