If SQ7 was recorded in 2001, then when were 1-6 recorded? I don't understand. SQ6 with Birdman was for sure recorded in 2003, 1-2 I'm sure were recorded in 2002 because Wayne mentions 500 Degreez coming out in July, so I'm sure it was recorded in early mid 02.

Freestyle Sessions is the actual name of the tape. S. Q. 7 as the title of the tape was made up

S. Q. 7 is the group's alternate name (like Lil' Wayne = Tunechi for example); you can see Wayne wearing a shirt in Shine video

People started calling it S. Q. 7 because there are/were 7 members in the group. It being called number 7 when there are 6 other mixtapes is a coincidence
