  • The Game to CM

This is bound to happen when Game records his last two albums for Geffen and Interscope.

Hip Hop Gossip | Game On His Future: | "I Might Get Into Acting..." | Hip Hop Blog

Game may still be under contract to Aftermath/Interscope, but the Compton-based rapper is talking louder and louder about what he's going to do once he's fulfilled his current contract. Game owes his label two more records (including the soon-to-be-released R.E.D. Album--but he's definitely looking to the future.

He said as much during a recent trip to "106 & Park."

"You know Interscope/Aftermath, that's my label and I'ma hold it down for them forever," Game said. "I've been there for four albums, and I've got one more album before I'm a free agent. We're gonna try and turn that one around real quick, then I'll make the executive decision on what I'll do with the rest of my career. I might get into acting, I might go over to Cash Money. You never know."
    I would like this.

Hopefully he goes over to Cash Money. Weezy would have more features with him

It would be dope for us Weezy/Game fans, but YMCMB isn't really a good label.

It's better than most when it comes to actually releasing projects... all the rest of the major labels fall short in that department

It actually is. They give the artists so much freedom etc.
We say "ahh they dont promote ahh they push shit back all the time"... but just look at the charts and how much they sell.

And tbh, we expect more as Wayne fans cause we've always gotten more, but compared to other artists, YM's promotion is still one of the best, YM/CM's worst promotional year is still better then a bunch of artists best promotional year, people are just in such a big hurry to hear new music that they think promotion is slacking when they don't get a new song every week, promotion can't be that bad when Wayne is pushing a million records in week 1 for a less then spectacular album that was barely expected to go gold in the first week by some people.
