So the Drake beef saga continues and rapper Common seems to have joined the list of rappers coming sideways at Drake. Between yesterday and today Big Seanz and Ludacris have been names thrown around the cyber world to have taken shots at Drizzy and in Common’s latest song “Sweet” it’s believed he has given a subliminal line or two towards Drake.
During the interlude of “Sweet” Common says:
“Yall n*ggas man, y’all soft motherf*ckers/Singing all around me man, la la la/ You ain’t motherf*cking Frank Sinatra/Uh, lil’ bitch…./Sweet ass motherf*cker”
Now you’re probably wonder what that has to do with Ocotber’s very own right? Well besides Kanye Westz, and sometimes Lil Waynez on a good day, Drake is the only rapper who seriously likes to sing on his tracks. And for those of you who don’t remember, Drake did a Frank Sinatra promo video for the 2010 MTV VMAs. Once Drake emerged on stage during the MTV VMAs, he began his performance with a show reminiscent of Frank Sinatra’s famous stair stroll.
