Drake Fansite "AllThings-Fresh" Closes It's Doors ATForever (2007-2011)
One lock out ends, another begins. Est. March 3rd, 2007, ATF was launched by Toronto’s very own, teen prodigy Karla “hustleGRL” Moy. The site’s insurrection was the sole driving force behind Degrassi actor turned rap star, Drake. Fast forward to four years later, you can now find tons of knock off and unofficial fan blogs for Drizzy. However, the real fans never flocked away as ATF continued grow.
All Things Fresh, an acronym that symbolizes a friendship forged by Drake, Boi-1da, 40, Niko, Oliver, Karla, Hush, Jas Prince, T-RexXx, Chubbs, CJ, P Reign, Courtne and more. He makes mention of the song on his debut album, Thank Me Later in the song Thank Me Now — “I rep the ATF in case you need to be reminded” he proclaimed. Over the years the blog site blossomed into much more, raking in over 8 million visitors, thus stapling itself as a brand and standard for all fan driven platforms with exclusive content, ranging from songs to photos and prize giveaways. Novemeber 28th, 2011 marks the day the plug was pulled on AllThings-Fresh, an in depth reason or explanation as to why hasn’t been issued but if you visit, a looped video plays highlights from a Take Care in-store, in tribute with a message that reads:
“THANK YOU for visiting all things fresh during these past years and throughout this musical journey. For that, you will forever be in our debt. You’re all appreciated, for real.”
