Now, we all know that Nicki Minaj has never been much of a lyrical genius but she has a lot of potential and used to be MUCH better in her mixtape days. I mean Pink Friday was okay, but way too pop and mainstream. With her latest single, stupid hoe, it's beginning to look like her next album is gonna be complete shit.

The purpose of this thread is simple; post old Nicki Minaj songs and discuss them

Great song IMO. Hook is catchy as hell, her verse is pretty good and so is Wayne's.

i agree her mixtape shit from back in the day was amazing her new shit isnt horrible but way to poppy and catchy for me she needs to get back on that playtime is over type shit

I reckon she should do both if she went on her old side on albums she wouldnt have that fan base shes got now but if shed realease a mixtape series of her older self and her main stream self on albums then we could have 2 sides which would be sick
