                New style. let's not forget his first (independent) album was managed by Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy...

                also if you're familiar with Tyga's story, you'd remember that Travie McCoy hooked him up with a part on a remix to a Fall Out Boy song. That's where he met Wayne.
