Yes it does,diversity is important. If you relate more to Drake than you do to Lupe that's okay no problem but the we all can relate to the world problems that he talks about,we're living in this world... it's not his music industry problem,people nowadays listen to music with no meaning,rappers like Soulja Boy and Gucci Mane get more credit than rappers like Eyedea and Aesop Rock. Listening is not enough,you gotta read the lyrics and think about what he's trying to say. My favourite Lil Wayne album is Carter 2,C3 is also good.

Drake has diversity in his raps. We can all relate to females (unless your gay or dont get any). I dont listen to Soulja Boy or Gucci so thats kinda irrelevant. Maybe they can stay real and make more entertaining music. Being a music artist is more then lyrics you have to make people want to listen to you, picking good beats help ,and delivery help. A author can be a better writer then another author and not know how to make people want to read their book/article.

You and the real Rick Ross said he took someone elses name didnt say that person has to be alive, and to me its kinda worse taking a dead persons name because thats disgracing their legacy. People know who both Rick Ross's are but most people dont know who the real 50 cent is and probaly never will.

John Gotti was alive when Yo Gotti started going by Yo Gotti, and i think Escobar was alive when Nas started using his last name, and the real Norieaga is still alive.
