I know this is not a popular opinion but C3 was more mainstream to me than C4. The original C3, which was leaked was streets.. but the final C3 was targeting for fame and riches. But fuck it, i think that album was needed to make Wayne a household name he is now...

Definitely it was but that's due to Wayne having to establish himself as a mainstream icon so to speak with C3. With C4 he didn't need to take such a commercialized route rather just attempt to recreate the higher points of C3.

When C4 dropped Wayne was already accessible and known to the mainstream, hence there really wasn't a need to have all the radio hits such as the Lollipop's, A milli's, Got Money etc.. Instead we got impact single like She Will and only on single that had a prolonged impact in How To Love (which is a more radio friendly attempt to recreate Lollipop).
