First off, Ace Hood himself getting signed to YMCMB was a shocker, but I saw it coming since he was already with We The Best.

Kendrick doesn't have the YMCMB appeal anyway.

He isn't really a new upcoming artist, he just doesn't have that much experience in the industry to be signed to a label like YMCMB.

He is good with TDE where he is at now.

It's not really about comparing Kendrick to anybody from Young Money, obviously Kendrick is far better lyrically, but lyrical content isn't what YMCMB is all about.
