I think its Someone in YM that ''leaks'' the shit, Example: Gudda Gives a Weezy Song To Some one that he Trusts, then they give it to Someone they trust, then They who got it Leaks it.

The leaking of songs has 2 sides. First of all it's very annoying for the artist to see that something you've worked on is being leaked (for free). And that's why albums keep getting pushed back a lot of times. But on the other hand, we (as fans, as listeners) got a lot more stuff to listen at. I mean, now we got the leaked Rebirth songs but in December we'll get the real Rebirth album with a lot of new songs, so it's like we have 2 Rebirth's; one leaked and one retail. Same as C3, there are tons of mixtapes full of leaked songs which in first instance supossed to be on C3, but after the got leaked Wayne made new ones so we still got a album with new songs. You feel me...(?)

Half the time it's the artists themselves who leaks it. For what reasons I don't know (maybe to find out if the song's good or not). The other half has to be in the inner circle who helps make the track. Seems to me that alot of times that they don't have alot of control if their stuff gets leaked or not. If they did, I can assure you that we'd have none of this goin on.

dr dre probably leaks his own shit to test the responses to the "unfinished" detox traccs ..
that empire guy said that "someone sittin next to lil wayne in the bus every day" leaks them lmao
most traccs leak mastered so it can be anyone that got hold of them after the studio engineering process .. they dont "leak" them themselves they sell them to djs like empire for $$$, why else would you leak them lol

I got hold of C3 like a month before it came out and that was CD in case with cover art and booklet

Easy to figure it out...

1. The artist themselves leaks it or authorises a leak
2. Someone close to the artist leaks the music
3. The music is stolen somehow
4. When companies like Universal or Sony etc.. check over everything, copies of the final product are handed to them weeks before release in case changes need to be made. These CD's are passed on to others or leaked online straight away

That's how I got the C3 from someone inside Universal
