Drake and OVO are ending 2012 with a bang as word that a deal with Warner Bros. for their Octobers Very Own label has been confirmed. Warner Bros. also serves as the home to Rick Ross’ label Maybach Music Group.OVO has gradually taken steps to expanding the brand with the annual OVO Fest, OVO merch, and premiering videos and such on the OVO blog. As a solo artist, Drake will still hold his solo contract with YMCMB/Universal. “New deal on the table look like bout like 10 milla.” I look forward to 2013 to see which artists Drake will sign first. Congrats on the deal! More details surrounding this news are set to emerge.
