Let be real, Drake is arguably the best rapper so far this year.
Again, I'll pose it in simpler terms: Eminem was, by in large, the best rapper between 1999 and 2004. In those years, he was the best rapper alive. Wayne was also the best rapper alive, between 2005 and 2008-9. But the man is only a fragment of what he once was--I know this, you know this. Give me one reason why he is still making good music other than: "The album is so hot. The beats are nice, the lyrics are good." How are they good?
And when you say, "What tha fuck? The avengers?" What exactly do you mean? It was last year's most popular film, but easily one of the worst. The same goes for Wayne.
Oh, and knowing Wayne longer doesn't matter -- although I joined this forum a lot earlier than you.
I feel you, but when you said popularity and talent don't mix and put Wayne as an example, that was wrong. because Wayne was popular back when he was VERY talented too. I'm not talking about now, back in 2007-2009 Wayne could jump on anybodys track and kill it better regardless to who it was for and he was very popular, biggest artist out there that he sold a milli first week...thats all im saying lol.
and damn...you didn't like the Avengers? damn...shit was EPIC! lol

In that context then yes, Wayne was both. But I don't think now he could be attributed with being one of the best rappers--others might.
Nah, I didn't like The Avengers, though--I've seen that kind of movie twenty times over.
really bothered people dont like No Guns Allowed.. wtf wrong with u peoplez.. sayin it was rushed and shit... his whole verse is about something that happened a year ago, im sure he had it in his phone waiting for the right beat and this was it.
lol befoe you think of drake being the best rapper 2013 you should wait until that nigga drops an album.he lazy, yes his appearanes were amazing but to be the best rapper of the year he needs to release an album that blows minds.
