    hes been workin on the album since take care was done, drizzy probably sitting on two albums worth of classics.

      At first I thought his father was just trolling considering the fact that Drake himself didn't say nothing about a release date but then the comment was deleted and would it be if Drake's father just trolling? I don't think so, but obviously we can't be sure until something official comes out. PrettyFlacko is right though, he has been working on NWTS since Take Care came out.

        From a marketing perspective, August 27th would be a perfect date. Kids just getting into college, edge of summer,college tour/world tour, come on!

            Exactly! With an artist like Drake, almost all of his fans are college students or around the age. If they are highschool students, then they all talk about the new drake album as soon as they get back from summer break. If they're in college, they all say, "damn I just saw that nigga here at the university his album will be dope!" and everybody gets Drake fresh in their minds right after seeing him at college, and boom his album sells like hash cakes.

                Didn't they delay the Rich Gang album to June 25 or something? Or was that Jay Sean's album?
                Now that I noticed it, out of the albums on the list, only PJ Morton's album actually made its date without any delays
