Drake & Chris Brown Win $16 Million Nightclub Brawl Lawsuit
Following last Summer's brawl at W.i.P. club between Chris Brown and Drake, numerous parties who have sued the artists, or the club including two women who were injured during the brawl, NBA star Tony Parker, and most recently, Chris Brown’s bodyguard.
Luckily, the singers just won a $16 million lawsuit. According to TMZ, Greenhouse, a nightclub located across the street from W.i.P. filed a lawsuit against the two artists, stating that due to the neighboring location of W.i.P., the brawl resulted in a financial loss. Despite their claims of financial loss, a judge in the matter ruled that neither Drake nor Brown will have to pay anything to Entertainment Enterprises, the owners of Greenhouse.
Drake responded to the lawsuit, saying it wasn't his problem, because he can't control how the media reported the incident and this week, the judge in the case took his side. The judge said Drizzy and Breezy had no duty to the club to behave, especially because their brawl didn't even occur on Greenhouse's premises.
