no one ended common's career. He's still releasing albums every 2-3 years, and has been doing it since "Can I Borrow a Dollar" in 1992. He's got a new album coming out soon too. On top of that he got his acting career with movies and tv-shows. So nothing's changed, Common career is going the same way it always has.
The only thing Drake ever did to Common was making him sell a few copies more, by saying Common dissed him on the album in order to sell more. So he helped him, not destroyed him.
