It shoudlnt be called "best rapper alive" but best rapper in the game right now or so because there are many rappers alive that are better and made better music in their prime than these new rappers that are considered "best rappers alive" like Drake,Kendrick..But Drake is probably the best pop/rap artist in the game right now.

but theres an element of manufactured there, and just a talent disparity that he cant overcome.

wayne is a natural. so much so that hurts him in things like hooks and melodies,

its almsot like eminem in the 2000s.


these guys are so good, they can rap on beats and music so bad, and sitll make it worthwhile cos of their own singular performance.


where a guy like drake, needs the hook to be hard. needs the beat to be perfect. needs his vocals adjusted, needs 40 within walking distance.

That's exactly what they do! All he has are Yes Men surrounding him. Wayne could song where he's literally just drooling and they're gonna tell him its dope.

And you're right about him just getting a beat and rapping on it he just flushes out songs & verses while Drake actually takes the time to craft his music. And I think that's one of the main reasons why when Drake & Wayne do songs together they turn out great cuz I believe Wayne works at Drake's pace as far as taking time to make the song.

Drake is a better rapper at this point than Wayne is, but with D5, I see Wayne might be prepping for that Big Tymer's album and getting ready to kill Drake.

If this thread is about primes, then there is no question that Wayne will have a better prime than Drake or Kendrick.

Both artists are in their primes now and really IMO Kendrick is the only one slightly close to Wayne in his prime.
