I love YMCMB, but it does seem like they don't help any of the other artists beside the top guys, ex: Wayne, Drake, Nicki, Tyga...etc
If they would promote more of their talent they might not feel that way.

Good point...if Millzy wasnt signed to YM he wouldnt have any of those features, so he can't act like Wayne hasnt helped him.

They helped themselves tho. Drake had a buzz in '07 before Young Money, Nicki had a buzz in mid/late '07 with Gucci 'n them before officially signing to YM, Tyga had Coconut Juice in '06 or '07

A lot of older niggas will tell you Millz had his chance to blow back in '03 but he didn't take advantage of it

I guarantee being signed to Wayne has him in a better place than he would be otherwise

Well yeah but still, they don't help out their artist like they should. They only promote those more famous. They could help give their other talent a little more push if they helped a bit more... But people gotta take chances on they own!

Do you ever see them posting about some of their not as famous, talent? All you ever see is Nicki, Wayne, Drake, Tyga. Jae Millz mixtape just came out and you rarely see them talk about it. Only time you hear about the artist is when Birman does a interview and drops a few new names, then you never hear about them again. He even forgets that some people are signed to the label. But im not gonna argue on how they should do something, its their label not mine. So if they wanna run it like that, then more power to them.

But if im artist signed to a label of that success, I would want more recognition than what some of them are getting.

The reason they posting about Drake, Nicki, Tyga is because they're releasing ALBUMS. They always gonna promote albums over mixtapes. Jae Millz made a bad decision to release his mixtape so close to Drake's album.

Jae Millz is one of those artists along with Gudda, that has gotten most verses or features on Wayne's albums and mixtapes, just look at my post earlier in this thread. It's just that Jae is frustaded, his been working for years, made over 20 mixtapes and still not that famous.. And he sees all these artists being more famous than him and they haven't worked as hard or as long. For fuck's sake i think Lil Twist are more famous than Jae..

IMO Jae missed his chance, and he know it.. These rappers need to stop think that the label will do anything for them, and do like Drake, Nicki & Tyga.. Do it on their own, Jae has gotten all the help he should get from YM and Wayne
