NWTS sells 658k copies in its first week

Drake's highly anticipated third album 'Nothing Was The Same' sold 658,000 copies in its first week. It's the second highest selling album in a first week (20/20 experience is #1) of 2013.

I know some people hoped it was going to sell 1 million copies but I always thought 600k - 700k so this isn't unexpected to me.

Yeah well I didn't see it so I thought I should make a thread for it. Why? I mean I know it got a lot of promo and hype but since people nowadays don't even buy CD's anymore this is great. He'll be platinum next week!

rich gang did 30k with no hype and limited advertising .. nwts was hyped to be the greatest thing ever and i havent even listened to it i refuse to. i dont like drake but i can at least say this much drake took a L. because everyone pre-release of the album/ the leak of it was like it'll be the best ive heard nothing but it being less than what it was expected to be.

bra is u serious, no promotion......... rich gang got all the promo it needed...... they songs was all over radio, mtv bet, everybody playin they videos....... den bow wow on 106 so dat was more cuz he playin they videos jus cuz he ymcmb.... aint tryna hear nothing bout no promotion
