Gotta see where Hip Hop is since it's an evolving genre
And I'm interested in seeing if Kendrick is able to pump out a huge #1 single that'll top the charts and gain him fans worldwide
Much like Lollipop did for Wayne... but I don't think Kendrick's that versatile

but that's the difference between Hova and Nas and why Hov is much more successful...because Jay's more versatile with his music.
Drake will definitely be more successful than Kendrick after 10 years, but Kendrick will be much more respected as a rapper....imoOriginally posted by ShakeWhy so negative all the time???

Drake will def be more successful
Unfortunately I feel Drake may have reached his limits in terms of popularity/sales
Take Care and NWTS had nearly equal sales even though NWTS had more hype behind it and singles like Hold On, We're Going Home but just barely missed 700k first week
I feel that 650-750k is his range, Kendrick's max would be around 500k
Another thing worth noting is that Kendrick kinda hurt him by making GKMC known as one of the best albums of this decade and possibly in a Top 100 list. If he fails to top or at least match it then fans and others would be questioning him. So he kinda put himself in a rough spot.

Jay's first was Reasonable Doubt, never topped it but still makes great music.
Kendrick may be able to top GKMC because he's that great, if not oh well he'll still make great music.

Nas first album was Illmatic... Hasn't dropped a better album but will still out rap anyone.

But don't forget that no matter if he keeps pumping out great music or w/e, if he can't top GKMC there will always be those large groups of people down the road saying "man Kendrick fell off" as with every other artist that couldn't top one of their previous works
Em just dropped Rap God which is a great ass track but people will still say he fell off compared to MMLP
