Because a song with the name Swangin by Drake needs two killer quick verses and an unforgettable hook. I'm a big Drake fan, but I'll be damned if I didn't miss mixtape Drake

My thoughts were that swangin is a double entendre. The song features a baseball comentary in the beggining. Throughout the song, you can hear "Swang give us a swang, give us a swang" which you could expect to hear at a baseball game. I also thought how Drake connected the song to a girl as well with various lines. I feel that a 'swang' can also be a way of showing affection, maybe flirting. Drake says he us on the road swangin at the end, and with the sub chorus of "Swang, give us a swang," is directed at said female. So if she 'swangs' back, it is fair to say she and Drake would "Connect." ;-)"Fuck all ya'll niggas, except my niggas, down from day one."
-Drake
